What Does The Pregnancy Ultrasound Finding Placenta Touching OS Imply?

Hi,My wife is pregnancy,at present she is 5 months.We have taken recently scan, in that it mentioned as placenta touching Os ,When we consult our doctor she said it will automatically become normal in upcoming months.But we are scared,need your advice.

Thank you for query.placenta position in the womb is also important.If it is closing the cervical (uterus lower part) opening thent here are problems of bleeding abortion etc.In your case it is just touching the opening and as fetus grows the placenta will climb up and so will not create problem.so relax follow all advices given by your doctor.
