What Does The Presence Of Blood In Cough Indicate?
hi.would just like to ask for some medical advise.my brother was coughing w/ blood. We have him checked and the doctor said it was pneumonia.they just prescribed some medicines to take.isnt it severe?isnt it necessary to confine him?Are there foods that he needs to avoid?he s getting thinner and feels restless.what is the best thing to do?thanks.

Yes the physician is right that she has pneumonia and it causes the blood in sputum. No its not needed to quarantine the patient. just avoid the sneezes and cough droplets so as to avoid spread the disease. Dont give him spicy foods and sour fruits. Stick to the treatment and she will be back to health.
