What Does The Presence Of Blood In Saliva Indicate?

Hi, I noticed a bloodin my saliva about three month ago at beginning was brownish but since three weeks the blood is fresh. I am none smoker none alcoholics .i went to gp and referred me to ENT but diagnose nothing all clear what else can i do ? I am 80% breathing from my mouth I always got mucus like if I am smoker on the morning would this be a related symptoms. Please let me know where shall I go from here. Regards

blood in saliva may be due to from teeth origin/gum bleeding/ buccal mucosa erosion. if u have tooth problem than there is posibility of fresh bleeding from teeth after brushing and pain in tooth may or may not be present. u should check all teeth for that or visit to dentist for that. in some vitamin B complex (B2) and vit.C deficiency there is chance of gum bleeding. mouth ulcer occur frequently in that. u can take multi vitamine/B complex tablets for that,,,,,
