What Does The Presence Of Grey Worm In Stools Indicate?

Two days ago, I ve noticed a grey looking worm in my stool. I didn t use the bathroom Yesterday and today, I ve been too scared to use the bathroom because I m afraid I d see more. I haven t really been eating much either and so hungry. I m really terrified of parasites. I wash my hands all the time, help!!!

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Worms in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) can be due to consumption of food contaminated with eggs of the worm.
You can get infested with worms despite maintaining hygiene and washing hands regularly.
I suggest you to get a stool examination to look for adult worm or its ova and cyst.
Treatment of worm infestation consists of treatment with anti-helminthic drugs.
The type of medication depends on the type of worms detected.
Anti-helminithic drugs clear away the worms with two doses.
