What Does The Presence Of White Spots On Brain As Seen In MRI Report Indicate?
I had a Gran mal seizure in Aug. I am slightly over weigh female with really no other health hx. I have a high ANA and when I had my mri and eeg, the result showed multiple areas of white spot on brain and slowing of the brain waves on the left. I am 55 years old.

A neurologist shall co-relate clinical findings and EEG and MRI reports.Multiple white spots could be due to multiple sclerosis (MS) at times although could be other reasons also.High ANA means some immune -auto-immune condition and MS is one of them in central nervous system, brain, spinal cord.This could be cause of grand mal seizure episode..Antiseizure drugs are generally given for two years from last seizure.Your neurologist maystartappropriate anti-epileptic like dilantin
