What Does The Report Say?

hi,doctor
i want to know that i got my semen analysis report in which semen volume is 2.0 ml,sperm count is 96 millions/ml,sperm motility is 65%(active) and sluggish is 15% and non motile is 20% and pus cells 2-3 /hpf
am i capable enough to have child with this report.

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your semen analysis report suggests infection.This is indicated by the presence of pus cells in semen. Normally there shouldn't be any pus cells in semen.
Infection may be due to prostatitis,UTI etc.
You need antibiotics for infection.
Other investigation like routine hemoram,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis,Culture and sensitivity should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed.
Rest of the findings like count,motility are within normal limit.
Infection is curable condition and you are capable enough to have child.
