What Does The Report Say?

i am 22 yers and ttc for 2years and my dh is 28 with perfect health.. my er put me on serphene and then gonal finjections for3days. i had my day 15 scan and had a 14mm follicle on my left ovary.. my er has asked me to come for a scan on day 20. do i have a chance of conceiving this month?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your USG finding is absolutely normal.There is chance of conceiving in this month.
There is one dominant follicle in left ovary.It will take part in ovulation and will be available for fertilization.Generally 20-25 mm is the maximum size of follicle at the time of ovulation.
You should plan unprotected intercourse within 24-48 hours of ovulation for maximum chances of fertilization.
After intercourse female should lay down in bed with folded hips and knees for 15 mins so that sperm can move inside the female genital tract easily.
