I had a examination done for chest pains and report: There is a left fapical fat pad present. Allowing for this, the heart is not enlarged. There is unfolding of the aorta. There are no mediastinal massed The lung fields are clear. There were no pleural effusions.
According to reports there is left apical fat pad present,it is a normal variant and it doesn't require any treatment. Unfolding of aorta is age related finding. Lung parenchyma appears normal. No signs of infection. Both CP Angles are clear. Mediastinal shadows are also normal. Cardiac size is within normal limit Hope i have answered your query.
