What Does The Semen Analysis Of A 32-year-old Indicate?

Hi doctor, I am 32 years old and i got married two years before. We are trying to get pregency for baby and tried many times but it was collapsed . As per doctor instructions I got the seamen Analysis test. In this test my progressive motility is 5.8%(failed) only and my total sperm count is 58.2%. Doctor suggested to take the tablet Lycogold XT for 3months I had last one month so any other way to increase progressive motility ?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The sperm motility is very low and chances for conception is also on the lower side. Consult an infertility specialist and get evaluated. Conditions like varicocele has to be ruled out as it can cause low sperm motility. If your partner fails to conceive, you can try newer techniques like IVF or ICSI.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you all the best.

Regards,
