Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the
semen analysis is as follows:
The physical characters- color, volume, pH are within normal range.
Liquefaction time is prolonged. Liquefaction time is prolonged in cases of infection.
The
sperm count / ml and / ejaculate is also within normal range.
The progressive motility in first hour is slightly below normal.
The progressive motility in first hour should be atleast 42%.
The morphology of 65% sperms is within normal range which is a normal finding.
Presence of white blood cells suggests infection in the reproductive tract.
The investigations suggested by yor doctor should be done.
These investigations will assess the
hormonal status.
In addition, semen culture should also be done to know the type of infection in the seminal fluid.
Thanks and take care
