What Does The Sperm Analysis With 25% Motility Indicate?
Hi, I am 53 172 6' and in very good health. I have had two sperm/semen analysis done, one in 2003 and one recently 3/21/2011. Both are similar. My Morphology is 22%, and 25%, Motility 2003 was 26% and now 20%, and forward progression was 2+ both times. Thin viscosity. What are my chances of getting someone pregnant? Actually there is someone that is 4.5months pregnant and naming me as the father. Had sex once with her, 4-5 days before her ovulation period started. I know a paternity test is critical and i know sperm can live 3-5 days. I have never gotten anyone pregnant - i was careless a few times before but typically wear a condom. Thanks in advance
I read you statement and i understand you are concerned about your sperm analysis report
For a normal sperm count, 50% of sperm should be active and motile and 30% should be at-least normally shaped. Moreover, liquification time should be 20 mins or less.
According to your report
1. Normal shaped sperms are 25% which should be atleast 30% 2. Motility is 20% which should be at least 50%
The chances of being pregnant are minute, But, in rarity, One can get pregnancy even with this count. I repeat, it occurs very rarely
Thanks Dr Nasir Ali
