What Does The Test Report Indicate?

611 T abnormality (Flat T) and 800 Normal Sinus Rhythm and 142 short QTc?I feel headache daily and i have pressure low , i make ECG analysis and the result 611 T abnormality (Flat T) and 800 Normal Sinus Rhythm and 142 short QTc and I feel ache in my heart when I face the cold weather. s what are the meaning of this result? thank you in advance

Thank you for posting your query. I can understand your concern.

Do not worry so much. Let me solve your queries one by one.
1. Sinus rhythm is absolutely normal rhythm which we all have.
2. QTc is short - This can be due to increased Calcium in blood , exposure to excessive heat or if you are taking drugs like digoxin.
3. FLat T wave can be due to thick chest wall , low blood flow to heart(myocardial ischaemia) , thyroid dysfunction , low potassium in blood.

If you have chest pain , palpitations , skipped beat , breathlessness consult a cardiologist. He/she will be able to correlate the report clinically.

I always tell my patients that an abnormal EKG requires further evidence. It is tool for diagnosis with other tests, clinical evidence and symptoms .
