What Does The Test With COPD With Post TB Fibrosis With IHD Indicate?

Age-74 yrs..

Weight- 55 kg..

History- K/C/O- IHD with post TB Fibrosis

H/O Sudden sever breathlessness

Cough with expect

Mild ABD. Disconfort

Dignosis- COPD with post TB fibrosis with IHD

Investigations- CBC-HB-12.6,WBC-7000, PLT-368000, ESR-80.S.CREAT-1.1,SGOT-14,SGPT-12

CXR- Fibrocavitatory changes are seen in RT. upper- mid zone with pull of tracha and hilum

Thanks for writing to HCM

Fibrocavitatory changes in right upper and mid zone with pull of trachea and hilum are due to sequel of infection.Infection naturally heals by fibrosis and calcification.Findings are due to past history of T.B.
Fibrosis causes ipsilateral pull of trachea and hilum may also be pulled if fibrosis is extending up to hilum.
This condition doesn't generally require any treatment unless it compromises pulmonary functions.
Findings are not serious at all.
