L x W x T/cortical thickness Left kidney- 9.24 x 4.25 / 1.28 cm. L x W x T/cortical thickness Urinary bladder is physiologically distended with normal anechoic lumen. There is no interval changed in size of the previously mentioned sacculation at the right infero-lateral aspect of the urinary bladder, measuring about 1.83 x .56 cm.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

The important points in your ultrasound report are as follows.

1. Gall bladder polyps. This is not a worrisome condition and is not related to your low hemoglobin. It might have been noticed earlier and its present size needs to be compared with the earlier appearance.

2. Focal cortical scarring in right kidney. This is also not a new finding and is said to remain unchanged. There is also mild prominence of the collecting system in your right kidney. You may need to run kidney function tests are make sure that they are normal.

3. The urinary bladder shows a small focal ballooning measuring 1,83 x 0.56 cm and this is very small going by size. This is also an old persistent finding.

You may need to do specific blood tests for kidney function and a peripheral blood smear to know if you have any particular anemia.
