Please I was diagnosed through ultrasoud that my myometrial echoes are uniform except for a small posterior hypoechoic focus measuring 1.18 x 1.28 and a right adnexal cystic focus measuring 1.52 x1.62. I m 26 and still single. What s wrong with me and what s your advise for me ?
Hi, Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic. In ultrasound a small posterior hypoechoic focus refers to a small fibroid which is there in your uterus in the posterior wall. The cystic focus in your right adnexal region is normal and not of any significane. If the cyst is more than 2.5 cms in size it is of significance. The only worry for you is the small fibroid in posterior wall but it is very small at present. Please do a follow up after 6 months to check for its size. Such a small fibroid will not cause any problems and will not affect your routine life. You just require follow up for the fibroid. Hope it sorts your problem.
