Hi...my ultrasound shows the placenta is located anteriorly, 3cm away from the internal Os. Grade 1 maturity....This is the 19th week...Is it ok to have it this way? And what does this mean..." 3cm away from the internal Os. Grade 1 maturity"...Do I have any risk? All other things appear normal in the report.
welcome to Health care magic. 1.Its a normal report. 2.Grade 1 is what you have to expect in 19 weeks. 3.Less than 2cm will cause concern, 3cm is fine as it may go higher in the progression of the pregnancy. 4.Placenta can locate anterior or posterior - its good to know for a doctor who induces labour. 5.There is nothing to worry in your report. Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
