What Does The Urinalysis Report Indicate?

Urinalysis shows my urine contains small amount of blood and calcium and I am presently suffering from UTI. Do I need to undergo CT stonogram as my doctor prescribed? Creatinine is at normal leve and I dont experience pain except the effect of UTI. Thanks

Hello,

You need to do an ultrasound to check it because the calcium found in urine may indicate kidney stones. Also, the small amounts of blood together with calcium may indicate kidney stones. Continue the treatment for UTI as recommended by doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
