What Does Thickening Of Pelvic Lining Indicate?

I just walked out of my ob/gyn s office after a biopsy. I am 69 years old, no children, have a very active lifestyle, work many hours a week managing a doctor s office who is a psychiatrist (no help on this one). My pelvic showed 20mm lining. What exactly does this mean? I just wanted to get out of the ob/gyn office asap.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome to HCM
I have read and understood your concern
I appreciate your health concerns
I will assume pelvic lining thickness you mentioned as endometrial thickness which is the thickness of the uterine wall.
It would not be appropriate to say anything regarding your pelvic scan findings before you get a hysteroscopy or biopsy results.
I would highly recommend you to get a proper follow up.
Dont worry it will turn out good as you haven't mentioned that you are experiencing any symptoms like bleeding or discomfort
Hope this will help
Regards Dr Faeza
