What Does This AMH Fertility Test Result For Pregnancy Indicate?

hii im 35 and trying to get pregnant for the last 6 months with no luck. i went to the fertility doctor a week ago she did AMH test for me, the result say it is 1.84 ng .. my doctor called me today and said its very low and they might have to try ivf... you think is it really that low? or she is just trying to make money .. because i checked on the internet and it says 1.84 level is not bad at all

First of all do not panic.

AMH is Anti Mullerian Hormone.
It indicates ovarian reserve.
Value above 2 is considered as normal.
Usually, IVF consultant suggest to go for IVF for patients having value below 1.5 .
Value below 0.5 is considered as very low.
With your reports of 1.8, I will suggest you to seek expert infertility treatment only.
