What Does This BP Reading Of 107/47 While On Atenolol Indicate?

have not taken my BP in awhile...took it about 10 min ago and its 107/47. I take atenolol 1x 25mg plus a bunch of other meds because i have heart disease 4 way bypass at age 50(now 59). my avg blood pressure lately has been 125/59---bottom has been dropping...btw, did yard work for 2 hrs before taking bp today...

Hello,

Your BP reading of 107/47 is within bottom line limits. I think should see cardiologist, report the results to him for reference. You need to change (reduce) the dosage of meds you are currently taking.

I think your status is well stabilized, and need changes to current therapy.

Discuss this with your cardiologist. Do not forget to pass your BP results.
