Good Evening Doctor Rynne, I have been suffering hypertension sine 2011, this past year I went to the ER due to uncontrolled hpertension, I have taken Diovan 320 hczt12.5 and my internist sent me to a cardiologist who added verapamil er 240mg. I have dizzy spells every day that it is debiliating me from going to work, yesterday I almost fainted ,my blood pressure at that time was 118/89 and M.D.office at 11:30am it was 124/82,he changes medication to verapamil 120mgsr capsule, my pressure at this time is 96/68. Now I am afraid to take any one of the verapamil. I am a diabetic on metformin 500mg twice a day and on xanax as needed for anxiety. Please advise. thank you for your time.
