What Does This CBC Widal Report For A Child’s Persistent Cough Indicate?

Hello Doc, My baby girl child is 4 month only and she is coughing. as per my doc chest is clear & ask for CBC Widal test. on her report Hb is 9.4, Neutrophil is 35, Lymphocyte is 63, RBC is 4.2, HCt is 32, MCV is 76.1 and MCH is 22.8 are highlighted. Pls. advise

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
I think your child is suffering from typhoid or viral infection.
Because lymphocyte count is very high suggest infection.

Hb, MCH and Hct is low suggest anemia mostly microctytic.

As lymphocyte count is increased:
It may be due to tuberculosis and lymphocyte disorder.
