What Does This CT Scan Report Indicate?

Hello I am a 38y old female. My cervical mid and ct show c2-c3 mild to moderate left facet naturopathy with right uncovertabral hypertrophy. Right neuralforaminal moderate stenosis. Also osteoarthritis of the atlantoaxiall Joint. C3-c4 moderate right facet arthropathy and bilateral uncovertabral resulting in mild left nf stenosis. At t2-3 osteophyte formation along with central disc profusion causing mild narrowing of central spinal canal. This has me in bed or a recliner most day and night. I can t drive or live my life. Also my eyes feel like they are being pulled from sockets at tines. I have to wear dark glasses to look at pc phone and tv as well having lights off always. Pain weakness numbness and tingling in arms legs hands and feet along with major head neck and back pain. Also chest pain mostly left side. Sometimes both sides. Ive tried tramadol, flexoril, financing backfire and prednisone. The prednisone helped with headaches but all else there is no change and my symptoms are worse than ever. I am waiting g for a neurosurgeon to review my mid before deciding to take me as a new patient. My fear is that she won t. If she will. What are chances of surgery and what k I nd of surgery? I am desperate to have this fixed.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The report suggest there are multiple osteophytes at different levels of the cervical and thoracic vertebrae.
2.They are bony out growth because of the degenerative changes in the spine, which can be age related or excessive heavy weight bearing work related.
3.There are multiple levels disc bulges seen causing indentation on the thecal sac due to loss of hydration in the disc.
4.Due to the nerve compression there is pain causing chest pain or back pain due to pressure effect of the desc.
5.In this case treatment includes exercises followed by physiotherapy, in late conditions operative treatment is indicated.

Good luck.
