patient has a history of cough for las 3 months , on c.t scan there is moderate pleural effusion of left side and also subcentimeter pretracheal lymph nodes ,and on ultrasound there is 500 ml fluid and also exudative ,, bronchoscopy is normal e.s.r is 53 Bochial aspiration is negative for AFB cytology is awaiting whatsthis
It simply said you have chest infection and it has spread in near by surroundings [fluid around the lungs]. It is now severe, you need I/V anti-microbials and multi-vitamins and need hospitalization. These can recover in 14 -15 days of treatment. Take healthy diet, fruits, vegetables and salads. Drink 7-8 glass of water a day. Do some pranayama, it can relieve psychological stress during this time. Sleep for 7-8 hrs. Listen to sleep music.
