Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a double mastectomy in June and am getting ready for reconstruction. I just had a CT scan on thurs. 10/13/16 and the report said that there is a small simple cyst seen in the left kidney, small hiatal hernia. Soft tissue density nodule of 7.0mm in the subcutaneous plane in the lower chest wall. Says a breast ultrasound is recommended. I have no breasts. where can this nodule be, and is it cancer?
It says you have a small cyst in your kidney and hiatal hernia. it also says you have a soft nodule in your chest . No it’s not necessary that the nodule is cancerous, it can be benign too. To find out that ,the nodule has to investigated further.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Sarishkw, General & Family Physician
