What Does This CT Scan Report Indicate?

I recently went to a doctor and a CT scan confirm is that there is a significant amount of soft tissue swelling and inflammation of the left maxillary sinus and there seems to be a little mass and that sinus that is consistent with a fungal ball and possible evidence of chronic infection should I have this fungal Ball removed?

Hello and Welcome to HCM. I have gone through your query and I would suggest you to get it removed. Do pay a visit to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to get it removed. It should be a minor procedure so you don’t need to worry. Just Pay a visit to your Surgeon whenever you feel like removing, though, sooner the better.
