What Does This CT Scan Report Of Head Indicate?

Hi my brother fainted at work after a week of intense headaches and then he had two seizures.. A CT Scan shows hypoattenuating white matter and we have now done an MRI and waiting for the results. He has tingling in his fingers and nausea and vomiting...do these symptoms mean anything to you?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, hypo attenuation of white matter of brain seems to be in relation with possible liquefaction pre existing tumor or other pathology. As there are seizure condition, primary aim to settle the clinical condition of the patient and later decide the future course of action after possible brain biopsy or other maneuvers.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
