Hi Doc, My dad 64 years CT Scan reports says "PROSTATE is mildly enlarged in size. Parenchymal calcifications noted. A midline cyst measuring 10x10mm noted. It measures 4.1x3.5x3.4cms Vol-26cc.

Please advise, what should be the further treatment/steps.

Radiologist 's  Response
Mild prostatic enlargement for this age group is Ok. Parenchymal calcification are a sign of post inflammatory process (old infection). What needs to be seen is the cyst which can either be a mullerian or utricle cyst.A TRUS guided needle aspiration will be diagnostic.
