Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does This CTA Test Result For Abdomen And Pelvis Indicate?
Back in Feb 2015 I had a CTA of the abdomen and pelvis with and without contrast-here are some results: There is a 0.4 cm non-obstructing stone in the right lower pole. There may be additional punctate stones in the mid and lower pole of the left kidney, each measuring about 0.1 cm in size. No enhancing renal mass is identified. There is no evidence of hydronephrosis or perinephric stranding. Is it possible for me to pass this (or these) stones without medical intervention?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is renal stones then it need to be removed with surgical intervention before it could damage the kidney and there will no other option available for this, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
