Hello,

HSG showing dilated infundibular and ampullary portion of both the fallopian tubes with small amount of peritoneal spill due to partial fimbrial block or adhesions. It means the dye reached the fallopian tube from uterus. In the fallopian tube the end facing the ovary is called fimbrial end and that is partially blocked.

So, the fallopian tube is dilated especially at the ends. There is very little spillage of dye outside from fallopian tube as there is block, all the dye remained in the tubes itself. This may affect the fertility. Your gynecologist will be able to tell you the chances of conception.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
