What Does This HSG Test Report Mean?

Hi am 27 and i got hsg test done , it reads as prompt left tubal spill is identified and tube show notmal morphology and for right tubr it says minimal tight tubal spill and crowding of right fallopian tube. There is persistent collection of contrast noted adjacent to the fimbrated end on delayed film. Normal uterine cavity. Can u help me intepret the results and chances of getting pregnant with left tube in. Natural way and also hoe bad is the right tube?

Hi,

Please exclude genital infection by pathological testing. Consult your doctor and get needful suitable antibiotic course. One patent tube can cause conception .It depends which sided ovary has ovulated to feed corresponding fallopian tube.

It can be on either of the sides and so chance of conception is 50%. You can give a patient trial for natural conception. An ovulation study as per your doctor's advise can guide foe the side of ovary ovulating in that particular month and then have unprotected sex at ovulation day. You have option of assisted conception by test tube technology, in case you are in hurry.
