General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, it is right. The liver is hypofunctioning and your jaundice levels are rising because of that. The liver needs to be strengthened. Avoid heavy, fatty meals and alcohol. Take plenty of fluids and water. Have a high fiber diet and avoid constipation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
