What Does This MRI Report For Lower Back Pain Indicate?
sir I have low back pain and pain in my leg ,this is my MRI result please guide me about surgical and non surgical treatment and food chart.... result is 1.diffuse central disc bulge at L3- L4 compressing upon both lateral recesses, more on right.. 2..moderate centero lateral canal stenosis at L4-L5
There is significant disc prolapse and it will keep on compressing your nerve roots and thus causes pain. You can consult an orthopedic for further evaluation.
You can opt for various non-surgical options like a steroid injection to the spine as it has got the same good results.
As first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
