What Does This MRI Report For Pain In The Arm Indicate?
Hello I am having trouble understand a finding on my cervical MRI report. My pcp only had her nurse respond to me and simply said it shouldn t be causing me pain only the pain down my arm to see a psyiatrist. I am having a lot of deep pain along with pins and needle feeing along side of where the protusions is and it does move to shoulder and arm. Do you agree that this isn t something that should be bothering me so much? I am 36 years old c5-c6 stable broad-based disc protusion resulting mild indentation the ventricles exact.minimal neural foraminal narrowing.
Deep pain in the arm, along with pin and needles may be caused by a pinched nerve. This may be explained by the disc protrusion as seen in the MRI, though its ver little.
But if the pain is in the outer arm and this may be explained by the c5 c6 little disc protrusion. So you may talk to your doctor and discuss this.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
