What Does This MRI Report Indicate?

My daughter, 14, had MRI due to daily headache pain semi-interference of her normal routine. Results showed paranasal and mastoid air cells are pneumatic. Is this normal? In 3 weeks, she is taking a trip to Illinois, can she fly? Prayers and professional opinion welcomed, Chris

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Persistent headache can occur due to various causes like refractive error, sinusitis, migraine, cluster headache, high blood pressure etc.
A detailed clinical history is required to know the probable cause of headache.
The MRI report showing pneumatic para-nasal and mastoid sinuses rules out the possibility of sinusitis.
In sinusitis the sinuses the sinuses turn white and hazy.
Thus, other possibilities for headache need to be known to plan further management.

Thanks and take care
