What Does This MRI Report Indicate?

Sir I am a force member. In the basketball match I got an injury on my right knee. As per the MRI report there is full thickness tear if ACL .Then I meet to a doctor , he advice me to take medicine and take rest for 2 month. So I want to know is there is necessary surgery for it

Hello and welcome to HCM.
Well, an ACL tear is easily seen on a MRI scan.
As you're an active sportsperson, a surgical treatment is definitely advisable.
Non-surgical treatment is an option, if you're willing to stop active sports, for next 3 months or more. Active movements of knee will be restricted.
In that case, you'll need knee braces and active progressive rehab.
