I can understand your concerns.Dehydration of Lumber disc is one of the finding with ageing process when there is excessive wear and tear of disc occur due to running, jumping or other excessive back activities. The back pain is one of the symptoms associated with dehydrated disc.
You should do following to have relief in this: - Avoid hard work - Avoid bending at your back - Take good amount of water & fruits every day. Taking at least 8 glasses of water per day will be helpful - Take help of a physiotherapist. He will help you by applying ultrasonic therapy, TENS and teaching some exercises for back - Apply an analgesic ointment locally at your back and do warm water fomentation with help of water bag for at least three times a day.
