Hello,
Welcome to the HCM.
As your MRI report showed disc problem. For this first pain killer and physiotherapy and some exercise are suggested .And if the pain is unbearable and getting worse then a back operation is done to reduce the bulge of disc so it can not cause further irritation of nerves arising from spine so it can be prevented from worsening the situation.
I would suggest get an opinion from neurosurgeon to discuss what extent of bulge is there and wether you need operation or not.
Hopefully my answer will be helpfull for you.
regards.
