What Does This MRI Report Indicate?

HI doctor, my daughter, age 8 months (born in 8 months and one week) is still unable to hold her neck at one place and it goes down right or right hand side whenever I try to keep it straight. Child specialist asked me to do her Brain MRI as this can be because of her premature birth. Now the MRI says nothing abnormality found except Mildly prominent extra axial CSF spaces likely representing benign enlargement of subarachnoid spaces. Otherwise grossly unremarkable MRI brain. Can you please advise me about this in simple language so I can understand what MRI tell about it? Thanks A mother

Hello.

Welcome to Healthcare magic.

What you are indicating is a typical sign of developmental delay commonly associated with premature birth and requires early intervention like starting with pediatric therapy services like Occupational therapy.
To relate to occupational therapy services, you can have a look at this video

Recommendation : Consult a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for initial assessment.
