Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hey Doctor lately i have been feeling dizzy disorientated and even my arms fell asleep my mri results states that i have a small area of focal mucoperiosteal thickening in the left maxillary sinus with moderate mucoperiosteal thickebing in the right sphenoid sinus..Doc can this be the cause of why i feel out of breath at times dizzy even some cases of anxiety?
The changes in the MRI are very likely related to chronic sinusitis, they do not justify your symptoms. Feeling out of breath and dizzy may be due to anxiety or lung or heart problems. If you have a check of your heart and lungs and they are normal then anxiety is likely and there are treatments available (medications and counseling) that may help with it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
