What Does This MRI Report Indicate?

MRI scan head showed moderate mucosal inflation seen in the right maxillary sinus. The brain parenchyma shows mild atrophy and small ischaemic change in the periventricular region, more marked around the frontal horns. No evidence of a space occupying lesion, infarct or haemorrhage

I understand your concern.
The following things can be inferred based on the MRI report you have furnished.
1. There is evidence of moderate sinus infection in the right maxillary sinus.
2. Brain parenchyma shows mild atrophy, but this needs to be clinically correlated.
3. Ischaemic changes are noted on several parts of the brain, and this finding also needs to be clinically correlated.
Kindly consult ENT specialist for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
