Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I read through the answer for what does Mild mucoperiosteal thickening within the ethmoid and maxillary sinuses mean that has already been posted. I recently had a MRI which reported the same. I also suffer from refractory seizure disorder. I have had a routine EEG and an ambulatory EEG which according to my current neurologist came back normal. I plan on getting a second opinion and going to a different neurologist for testing again just to confirm. My seizure disorders started after a blunt force head trauma. I was on the second story of a party bus in cancun and hit my head against a tree branch because I raised up too early. Anyhow, I am 36 years old, female, 5foot five and 126 pounds.

What Does This MRI Report Indicate?
Hello, As such your MRI is normal. Maybe small contusion or cortical injury may cause seizures. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use antiepileptic drugs. Repeat EEG if necessary. Please consult your neuro physician he will examine and treat you accordingly. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu, Internal Medicine Specialist
