What Does This MRI Report Indicate?

My right right shoulder MRI showed Mild degenerative changes of the acromioclavicular joint. The acromion is mildly laterally downsloping in the coronal plane and is flat in the sagittal plane. The glenohumeral joint is normal. No significant joint effusion. Diffuse signal noted throughout the bone marrow slight hyperintensity on T2-weighted imaging and low signal on T1-weighted imaging. .... I m slightly impatient to wait till Monday... is this bone marrow issue concerning like Leukemia?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The MRI does not indicate or mention leukemia.

Leukemia occurs when these is excess production of white blood cells (part of the body's immune system).
Usually because the bone marrow is so over worked, it is thinner than normal not with increased intensity.

Leukemia would also cause very significant changes in the complete blood count.
The white cell count would be very high. There may also be changes to the red blood cell and platelets.

None of the above changes indicate leukemia

I hope this helps
