Sir Iam 25 I have pain in my lower back buttocks and sometimes burning sensation In my foot I can t sleep by flat body .And my MRI shows M R I – LUMBAR SPINE Sequences: Sagittal T1W TSE, T2W TSE Axial T2W TSE, Coronal and sagittal T2 HASTE myelo Coronal STIR screening sacro-iliac and hip joints FINDINGS: The lumbar and sacral vertebrae are normal in alignment. The vertebral bodies and posterior elements are normal in morphology, marrow signals. The spinal cord, conus shows normal signal intensities. L1-L2 to L3-L4 level: Disc height and signal intensity appears normal. No significant degeneration / herniation is present. The facet articulation and neural foramina appear normal. L4-L5 & L5-S1 level: There is mild loss of T2 hyperintensity. The disc height appears normal. There is mild diffuse disc bulge with mild central protrusion causing thecal sac indentation. No significant spinal canal or neural foraminal stenosis. The facet articulation appears normal. The perivertebral soft tissues are unremarkable. Screening STIR coronal sacro-iliac and hip joints is unremarkable. AP canal diameters at disc level (in mm) are as follows: Level : L1/L2 L2/L3 L3/L4 L4/L5 L5/S1 (mm): 13.4 16.7 12.5 12.5 11.0 IMPRESSION: • L4-L5 & L5-S1 level: Mild diffuse disc bulge with mild central protrusion causing thecal sac indentation. What Does This MRI Report Indicate?
This report is normal. You have to check with a Neurologist and do a neurologic exam so to exclude some distal neuropatia of the foot.
