I had a mri done two days ago and it is saying there are s attered punctate preiventricular white matter FLAIR/T2 hyperintenities what does this mean? And they also call me from the dr. office and said that they were going to refer me back to my primary care dr. to treat mr for a sinuse infection. Well i dont have a sinuse infection. I haven had one in about 6 months. Could there be something else going on in my head?
According to the MRI report, you have chronic sinusitis infection. You probably need treatment. It depends on your actual signs and symptoms such as chronic headache fever or cough. I suggest you to discuss with your doctor for this.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
