Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My MRI results show: Indication: 723.0 spinal stenosis in cervical region. 338.29 other chronic pain. Findings: C1-2 visualized posterior fossa, brainstem, cervicomedullary juncion and cord demonstrate normal signal character and morphology. No evidence for intradural extramedullary lesions. Craniocervical relationship is normal. Minimal facet osteophytes are grossly similar in appearance. There are no significant stenoses. No evidence for cord or nerve root impingement. Does this mean that just the c1-2 show no signs but the rest C3-7 do show signs of stenosis? This is my second mri and my first said stenosis in both c4-5 and c6-7. its confusing since the dont mention c3-7 on these results.
Hello, welcome to HCM. In this report they have seen at higher level, C1-2 which is normal. area occupying by brain are normal. Junction between brain and spinal cord are normal. So seeing both MRIs, stenoss is present at lower level ;at C4-5 and C6-7. Please take advice from neurosurgeon. Take care.
