General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the signal intensity changes of mild variety is in concern with age related changes in the tissue architecture and calcium homeostasis.

As there is no evidence of disc herniation, it is not of that significant defect to be worry of. Following measures will help you to sort out the condition:
- Acceptance of certain postural changes
- Avoid sudden bending, weight lifting
- Control of body weight
- Control of blood sugar, cholesterol
- regular analgesic and anti inflammatory drugs with antacid
- Correction of calcium levels if disturbed
- Assisted physiotherapy
Regular follow up with orthopedic specialist.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
