What Does This MRI Report Specify?

I had an MRI done recently and the results were that a sellar mass on my pituitary gland is probably a haemorrhagic macrodenoma abutting the optic chiasm superiorly and laterally beginning to bulge into the right cavernous sinus. I was wondering what this means?

hi,

Thanks for the question. since you have mentioned the medical terminology here as the radiologist have mentioned probably on the report.

until we know the symptoms of you it is little difficult to explain what exactly the report and the answers you are looking for the diagnosis.

if you can mention your symptoms and along with it if you provide this report we can definitely help you.

since most of the times the human body tissues may be found abnormal. not only in your case but in most of the cases. diagnostic are used to help come closer to diagnosis. but it is also mentioned in every report to correlate with the clinical signs and symptoms for accuracy of diagnosis.

I request you to visit the physician who asked you for the MRI, as he will provide a deep input to your query.

with the grace of God I wish you a good health.
