What Does This MRI Result Indicate?

My recent MRI claims I have complete tears of the supraspinatus and infraspinatus tendons which are retracted up to 3.5 cm. I have a partial longitudinal tear of the bicep tendon which is dislocated medial from the bicipital groove. I have a full thickness tear of the labrum superiorily and posteriorly with a small adjacent paralabral cyst. And a modirate-size fluid accululation in the subacromail/subdeltoid bursa. What does this all mean, and how is it repaired?

Hello,

Complete tears of the supraspinatus and infraspinatus tendons means two out of your four tendons that form the rotator cuff are torn. This will severely restrict your ability to move your shoulder joint.
A partial tear of the biceps tendon also adds to this problem of shoulder movement.
The fluid in the bursa means the joint is irritated and inflamed due to the injuries.

This extent of injuries require surgery to re-attach the tendons and repair the labrum.

Get well soon.
