What Does This MRI Test Result Of Lumbar Spine Indicate?

Diffuse degenerative loss of disc signal is identified throughout the lumbar spine..... There are multiple rounded lesions scattered throughout all of the lumbar vertebra, the largest measuring 15 mm size, mainly of isointense signal on T1 and increased in signal on T2 and FLAIR, either representing atypical hemangiomas or osseous metastases. Dear Unknown Doctor: What do isointense signals mean for me? It don t sound good. My neurologist closed his office, Dr. Alexander Kiss, and the MRI report could not be forwarded to my primary, it always goes to the Doc who ordered it, and he is gone. I picked it up from the excellent radiology dept, hand carried it to my Primary, who is a P.A. I am waiting to see what else could go wrong.

Hello,

The isointense model of MRI on T 1 indicates extension to predict the field dependence of tumor specific contrast enhancement by multiple parameters and scales. However, individual case difference and report evaluation requires expertise care with patient symptoms, physical findings and then co-relation with the reports.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
